Do you have strong data entry skills? This position is an administrative support position that enters commercial insurance submissions into the agency management system, creates the electronic file in the imaging system and routes the new business submissions to the appropriate underwriter as well as other duties as requested.

Qualifications include strong computer skills, good communication skills, time management skills, and high school graduate or equivalent.

Job responsibilities include evaluating, classifying and rating each risk to determine acceptability, coverage and pricing. Ensures files are underwritten and documented to conform with Myron Steves and our carrier guidelines and restrictions. Assume responsibility for effectively researching, tracking, resolving or referring underwriting or documentation problems and discrepancies. Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with agents, company personnel and management. Assist department personnel as needed Attend and participate in meetings and continuing education as required. Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned. Other duties as necessary.

Knowledge and skills needed: 3-5 years commercial underwriting experience and insurance license required. Sales and marketing skills, superior analytical skills, cooperative and willing to assist others, well organized, exceptional customer service skills, detail oriented and strong computer skills. High school graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities include answering phones, issuing binders and invoice on new and renewal accounts, rating endorsements, ordering and reviewing inspections, following up on missing information, maintaining policy files, and other duties as requested.

Qualifications include 2-3 years commercial lines experience, strong computer skills, good communication skills (verbal and written), time management skills, and the ability to multi-task. High school graduate or the equivalent. 2-3 years commercial lines experience is required.
